Daniela Silva is a Portuguese architect, researcher, and writer with a multifaceted and international career. Her work spans architectural practice, academia, and editorial contributions, reflecting her deep engagement with digital fabrication, design innovation, and architectural discourse.
Currently, Daniela is an architect at an office in Lisbon while pursuing a PhD in Digital Architecture at ISCTE, where she investigates the impact of digital fabrication on design methodologies and architectural practice. She is also Curator and Research Manager at Non Architecture, a platform dedicated to exploring unconventional design solutions.
Her writing contributions appear in leading international magazines such as CLOT Magazine and Architecture Hunter, where she covers emerging trends, digital tools, and pioneering architectural projects. Additionally, she has taught and lectured at institutions worldwide, including Kingston University London and Shandong Jianzhu University, and has presented research at key conferences such as eCAADe, SIGraDi, and CAADRIA.
