Mengxi Liang

Mengxi Liang is a licensed architect, LEED Green Associate, and member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), based in New York. She holds a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Architecture from Dalian University of Technology.

She has contributed to projects across the U.S., Middle East, and Asia – spanning public, cultural, healthcare, and hospitality typologies. At internationally recognized firms such as Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and OLI Architecture, she has participated in large-scale planning and building efforts, focusing on site-sensitive strategies, interdisciplinary collaboration, and sustainable architectural practices.
Her design philosophy emphasizes long-term public value and thoughtful engagement with place. She believes that architecture should be locally attuned, socially responsive, and technically sound—grounded in both ecological responsibility and cultural continuity.
Mengxi currently serves on design juries and remains actively involved in ongoing discourse around sustainability, heritage, and the civic role of architecture in shaping resilient communities.
