Our core concept, “Verdant Peaks and Healing Waters,” draws from the diverse urban fabric surrounding the site, stitching together traditional residential neighborhoods with contemporary public spaces. We create an open and transparent urban visual corridor, reorganizing key functions such as outpatient services, medical technology, and inpatient wards. The architecture is organically developed and arranged in a courtyard cluster formation across the site, forming a highly efficient north-south medical street. On the east side, a compact and efficient urban interface enhances coordination with the community scale, while on the west side, the design follows the natural river course, shaping layered and rich open spaces to create a dynamic and natural landscape interface. The varied building heights respond to the city’s skyline, creating a multi-dimensional space in harmony with the surrounding environment. Ultimately, the project aims to establish a healing complex that is deeply integrated with the natural landscape of Lingnan. The integration of function and landscape enhances spatial comfort and sustainability. Following the multi-dimensional variations of the city’s skyline, the hospital adopts a layout that is higher in the north and lower in the south, with clear functional zoning. The rooftop garden offers patients a space for relaxation, and with green roofs, a rainwater collection system, and eco-friendly building materials, it enhances the hospital’s environmental standards. This design creates a healing space in harmony with nature.
