Flowers gather in clusters – Feng Hua Runde. The design of Shunde Women’s and Children’s Hospital of Guangdong Medical University adopts a “fancy” layout, which conforms to the image characteristics of the hospital. The implementation of this project will improve the medical distribution planning in the Shunde area, comprehensively enhancing the medical service level in Shunde area, and become an efficient, warm, and meaningful architectural design model for women’s and children’s hospitals.
This plan is based on the image creation concept of “flowers gather in clusters, phoenixes bloom and become virtuous”, and the entire campus is like a phoenix among flowers. The phrase ‘Phoenix flies, plucking its feathers’ implies that the new campus of Shunde Women’s and Children’s Hospital of Guangdong Medical University will become a model for hospital architectural design. The skirt building is a fancy architecture designed based on the structure of nature, with a sense of affinity and sweetness towards nature. The overall architectural conception is a symbol of life, with flowers as the design carrier, symbolizing that every child is cared for like a unique elf. Combining the functional needs of the Women and Children’s Hospital and the regional climate characteristics of Shunde, a “flower” style architectural layout is constructed to reasonably arrange medical processes
Our original intention in designing the new hospital area plan is to build a modern maternal and children’s health hospital with a symbol of life and in line with feminine aesthetic characteristics.
