Co-Founder, Principal Architect | Rebelo de Andrade
He graduated in Architecture from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto (FAUP) in 2008. As part of the Erasmus program, he attended the Facoltá di Architettura Civil di Milano Bovisa, at the Politecnico di Milano, in Italy. In 2010, he completed his Master’s degree at FAUP and, the following year, the Advanced Management Program at NOVA School of Business and Economics, deepening his knowledge in management and strategy.
He participated in the 2010 Architecture Triennial, standing out in the international competition “A House in Luanda: Courtyard and Pavilion”, where he obtained 2nd place among 599 participants, in a jury composed of architects such as Álvaro Siza Vieira and João Luís Carrilho da Graça. He has designed internationally award-winning projects, such as “Casa das Fragâncias” (Architizer Award – Building of the Year 2012) and “Tree Snake Houses” (Building of the Year 2014 – ArchDaily, Travel+Leisure Design Awards 2014).
He is a partner and co-founder of Atelier Rebelo de Andrade, being responsible for strategy, communication and management of teams and projects. Determined and innovative, he drives the studio’s continuous improvement, challenging the limits of architecture and exploring new solutions.
