Architect, Head of Communications | b720
Vassilis Kalampogias has a Master’s in Architectural Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens and a Masters in Architectural Communications from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. His interdisciplinary profile has allowed him to thoroughly understand the architectural process from the inside, in order to develop the adequate tools and communication strategies for its diffusion.
He worked as an architect in studios in Athens for two years. He has been part of the Organizing Committee of Open House Athens for six years. He has also participated in the realisation of other events, such as the Athens Biennale AGORA (2013) and the Tentacular Festival in Madrid (2019). Additionally, he was a member of the 1st Open House Worldwide Festival organizing team.
He has been responsible for award inscriptions and publications for all the architectural firms he worked for, totaling four years of experience in the field.
Currently, he is based in Barcelona and works as Head of Communications at b720 | Fermín Vásquez Arquitectos.
